Spinner Gear Flip - Precision Modular Flip Fidget
Print Profile(3)

Description
Spinner Gear Flip evolves the feel of the Spinner Flip Duo 2.1 by replacing its free‑moving arms with a central geared linkage that locks both sides into a synchronized, prescriptive motion. When flipped, the arms roll over the gear in a smooth, quiet, perfectly timed rotation that feels engineered and intentional.
This is the heaviest fidget I’ve created, featuring a 100% infill to make the weight distribution more solid and firm, enhancing the tactile experience.
The secondary motion is just as addictive: hold one outer ring still, rotate the center linkage, and the opposite ring whips around in a controlled snap. (See the motion GIFs in the image library.)
🧩 Designer Note
This model is for makers who love the Duo 2.1 but want something more mechanical, more guided, and more precision‑driven. The gearing creates a predictable, rhythmic motion that feels like a tiny engineered mechanism in your hand.
The increased weight from the 100% infill gives it a more substantial feel, while assembly requires firm pressure to push the pins into place, often needing a hammer for proper fit.
🛠️ Assembly Callout
Print‑in‑place core with separately printed rings and pins. Snap‑fit tolerances are tuned for Matte PLA. No scaling.
Note: Due to the solid 100% infill, this is the heaviest fidget in the series. Assembly will require firm pressure to push the pins into place, often needing a hammer to ensure a flush secure fit.

🚀 If you enjoy engineered motion, precision mechanics, or guided kinetic designs, this one will feel incredible in hand. The solid weight distribution from the 100% infill adds a satisfying heft. Boosts help the model reach more makers — thank you for supporting the series.
