Retro Wayne Model 60 Style Gas Pump 1/18 scale
Print Profile(3)

Description
This is a model of a retro gas pump at 1/18 scale for dioramas. It is based on a Wayne Model 60 manufactured by the Wayne Pump Company from 1935 to 1946. The model includes a gas nozzle and elbow which can be connected with a flexible “hose” you can make from stripping insulation from an electrical wire. Glue the elbow and the 2 halves of the top circle into the main pump body.
Three print profiles are provided.
- All parts using a 0.4mm nozzle (fine for most parts, but the gas nozzle is a bit better with 0.2mm)
- The gas nozzle only, using a 0.2mm nozzle
- All parts using a 0.2mm nozzle (takes much longer)
The 0.4mm nozzle is fine for the pump, circles on top and the elbow. As can be seen in the model photos, the 0.2mm printer nozzle gives slightly better results when printing the gas nozzle since it is such a small part with finer details. The gas nozzle is printed with supports and there will be small scars on the bottom surface. These can be carefully removed with a hobby knife or file.
A rendered image is provided for inspiration, but this is a single colour model intended to be painted.
