Ryobi RM480 / RM480e / RM480ex Charge Port Adapter

Custom 3D printable charge-port adapter designed for Ryobi 48V riding mowers. This adapter allows use of an aftermarket charger while retaining the factory-style mower charging connection.

I designed this to work with my RM480EX conversion project using a 58.4V lithium charger, but it may also work for other Ryobi 48V mower models that use the same triangular charging port.

Print Recommendations

• Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS recommended
• Layer Height: 0.20 mm
• Walls: 4+
• Infill: 40–60%
• Supports: needed

PETG works well for general use, but ASA/ABS may hold up better long term in garage/outdoor temperature swings.

• Wiring sized appropriately for your charger current
• Epoxy or CA glue optional for securing contacts
