We’ve created an improved version of the part designed to reduce flex in Tiny Whoop frames.
To achieve further weight reduction, the design has been updated to better balance strength and overall mass.
As with the V1 model, installing this part enhances flight control responsiveness. As you continue flying with a pull‑type setup, the frame tends to bend into a U‑shape, but installing this part helps suppress that deformation.
Four versions are available for the Air65, Air75, Meteor65 Pro, and Meteor75 Pro.
When using it with the Air65 II or Air75 II frames, you will need to trim the screw‑protection section.
For mounting, please use motor screws that are approximately 1 mm longer than standard ones. The ideal size is M1.4×4mm, and they’re easy to find cheaply on AliExpress.
For increased strength with a slight reduction in weight, PETG‑CF filament is recommended.
If the screw is difficult to insert, gently widen the hole using the tip of fine‑tipped tweezers.
You can find the previous model below.V2 has a thickness of 1.2 mm, while V1 has a thickness of 1.7 mm.
