NOT the Bullet
Print Profile(1)

Description
“NOT the Bullet” is an adaption of The Bullet originally published by Narwhal2.0
This makes an indoor friendly, slower paced small car that is great to entertain your cats. Easily drives under furniture without worrying about snagging the wire on top. All of my examples are printed in PLA. Adds about 50% to the weight of the vehicle as originally designed (including battery and hardware)
Included on one plate:
A simple body - Printed at 0.28 layer height and 10 lines per wall for NO infill. Prints in just under 3hours.
sleeve for over N20 motor body to fit 030 size hole in the frame
wheels that fit onto N20 400rpm motor output shafts.
Designed to fit onto this model after swapping the 030 motors for N20 400rpm motors.
This version should give extra front wheel clearance, but if they touch it doesn't steer as the wheels lock up, so you may need to file/Dremel down the front wheel wells if it won't drive nicely.
I used a set of display-only bearings to allow the front wheels to rotate. This is perfect for slow speed if you don't have bearings, but I recommend checking the original site for an alternate printed bearing wheel.
Assembly for the motors consisted of slipping the motor sleeve over the N20 motor, sliding the motor and sleeve into the rear motor cage, and carefully tightening the screw for the motor. Due to the fragility of the frame, I did superglue the sleeves in place (note the ugly finish from my use of accelerant). Be sure to orient the slot toward the back on each motor, this should allow removal if the screw is loosened.
I did have to play with the inner diameter of the wheel hubs to get them to work well with the shafts. Be very careful when assembling as the frame can crack! You may need to scale slightly if you print in other than PLA or if your printer is not quite calibrated the same as mine. The hole is oversized to 3.25mm with a flat on the one side to ensure rotation from the flat on the drive shafts.
You Need to have two N20 400rpm motors for this version or N20 1000rpm motors. I don't know if the 1000rpm motors will push everything. The 030 motors would not push this model with all the extra weight.
Assembly of the body onto the frame of ‘The Bullet’ by sliding the front clips onto the front steering frame, and clipping the rear down onto the frame arms. Should sit lightly over the car covering the components. This a gravity/ friction fit only.
