Description
Charles H. Spurgeon – The Prince of Preachers (Special Edition)
An exclusive and detailed piece for admirers of Christian history, Reformed theology, and the legacy of Charles H. Spurgeon. This miniature captures the unique essence of the "Prince of Preachers" in one of his most iconic and debated poses in history: holding his faithful open Bible in one hand, while bringing his classic cigar close to his face.
This model was carefully planned and simplified to ensure excellent print quality, even at smaller scales.
### Model Highlights
- Optimized for Miniatures (10cm): The background was completely removed and excessive overcoat details (such as fringes and trinkets) were cleaned up. This prevents extrusion failures and simplifies slicing.
- Dynamic and Realistic Pose: The Bible is positioned close to the body at a reading angle, and the cigar is perfectly fitted in the hand, eliminating "floating parts" that often spoil the print.
- Included Base with Inscription: Stylized base resembling stones with the name "Charles H. Spurgeon".
### Recommended Print Settings (Ideal for 8cm)
If you are printing on an FDM printer (like the Bambu Lab P1S/A1/X1C) or with Resin:
- Layer Height: 0.12mm or 0.08mm (High Quality) to capture the facial features and beard well at this 10cm scale.
- Supports: Highly recommended to enable Tree Supports. Focus support under the arm holding the Bible and under the cigar elbow.
- Infill: 5% to 15% (Gyroid pattern is excellent for stability).
- Walls: 3 to ensure good strength in the thinner parts (like the cigar).
- Speed: Slightly reduce speed on the top outer layers to ensure the face and top of the hair come out perfect.
