Historical Origins
Chaoyang Pavilion is located in Shouyang, Shanxi. It was first built in the twelfth year of Zhengde during the Ming Dynasty. A folk saying goes 'The Cangzhou Lion and Yingzhou Pagoda are not as good as Shouyang Chaoyang Pavilion', and there's also an interesting legend about Lu Ban building the pavilion, making it a legendary ancient architectural treasure. The original building underwent reconstruction and was restored in 2005.
