Description
Medieval Chest Armor,
Since you all loved the other parts of armor and many requests for chest armor, I gave it a go, and I like what turned out. This is all pure fantasy armor nowhere near amazingly crafted time-oriented armor, but pure fantasy but damn I feel pretty cool when I have it all on! I tried to make this as easy as possible to print so it did not have to be welded together and not a ton of prep work to go into it. Simple in design just like the rest of the armor just a knight trying to survive on what he has left to stay alive.
- The chest armor is sized to my body so please check the mesument pictures in the photo area to see the sizes , Measure under your pectorals over to tricep lat area. It kind of cups around to that area so make sure you bottom armpit area with calipers to get correct size for that part of the armor.
- I will put up fully put together front and backs to you so you can size them up or down then on the main part page you can change your pecentages as needed so you can get the correct size if needed. not sure how much wider you can go for the before the model hits the boundries of the smaller printers, but if you print on bigger printers you have plenty of room to play with if needed.
- simply glue the two parts to the center parts, I used E6000 glue on them to get a really good hold and clamped them and let them set for at minimum a day to get a good hold. super glue or hot glue will work but I am not sure on how good the hold will be with those but use whatever you have availible to you.
- use any kind of strap you would like, I found a good affordable leather strap on amazon that I really liked so I used it on all of the armor. Also used E6000 glue on those as well and holds great so far glued on as is but will add more support to straps when I get time.
- I used spray paint for full cover and then airbrushed detail areas and rub and buff also to give weathered beaten look
- There is a Damaged version as well as Clean Version so choose what you like.
- I added a back X strap so If you do not really want back armor your straps can go to that or use your own method if you have a better one, just wanted to give you the option if wanted.
- the Ab pllates I used velcroe to attach to the main plate so I could take them off If i didnt want to wear them with the full chest armor. you can use them or not thats personal preferance for those but I just stacked them and they turned out pretty cool if you want a more full look.
- should have plenty of mobility in the arm area so you dont feel so boxy you cant touch your arms toghter.
- Hit me up if you have any further questions and I will help the best I can.
