Meet the Flexi Mini Gorilla 🦍✨
Chunky, angry-looking, fully articulated, and honestly way more fun to print than I expected 😂
This little gorilla was designed to feel bulky and powerful while still keeping that toy-like flexi style.
The exaggerated muscles, oversized hands, layered fur details, and articulated body give it a super satisfying look once assembled on the build plate 😄
It also works surprisingly well with bold filament combinations — especially strong contrasting colors 👀
⚠️ Color Recommendation
For the accent color, I highly recommend using something a bit darker or stronger instead of very light pastel tones.
On my orange/blue version, you can notice a tiny bit of color bleed showing through around the chest area due to the bright contrast between colors and layer overlap.
Using stronger/darker accent colors helps hide that effect much better and gives cleaner visual separation overall ✨

🎁 Fun & collectible design
This tiny gorilla was made to look bulky, expressive, and slightly intimidating… while still somehow being adorable 😂
🧠 This model was initially inspired by an AI-generated concept, with base geometry processed through MakerWorld’s Image-to-3D tool.
🛠️ The generated mesh was then imported into Nomad Sculpt, where it underwent extensive manual cleanup and optimization — including quad remeshing, topology refinement, surface reconstruction, manual separation of key elements for multi-color printing, articulation adjustments, and geometry rework for improved balance, reduced supports, and better overall printability. Additional sculpted details, smoothing passes, and structural corrections were also applied manually to achieve a cleaner final printable result.
📸 All photos shown are of the actual printed model, tested on multiple plate sizes and verified for clean print performance.
