Description

Imagine... If Bob Marley and Mario had siblings.

I proudly present to you... Rasta Mario! 😁

Bring some good Rasta vibes to your printer! This Exclusive high-quality Rasta Mario is fully optimized for multi-color printing WITHOUT the need for an AMS!

āš ļø Why you should NOT print this with an AMS:
If you try to print this model @ this size as a single multi-color object, it will take over 7 days of printing time, require 4,230 filament swaps, and waste kilograms of filament! And most of all.. Pray you don't get any errors Ā during those 7 days! šŸ˜…

The Solution:
I spent Days.. nights.. slicing this model into exactly 76 interlocking individual parts. Each part is printed in its own solid color, resulting in zero filament waste (no purge towers!), zero color bleeding, and a super clean, premium finish.

Most parts feature a perfect friction-fit and snap together beautifully. Only the tiny details (like small logos) might require a tiny drop of superglue. Use superglue on the low-friction parts to make this fellow completely solid!

Key Features:
🚫 NO AMS REQUIRED: Designed for standard single-extruder printers.
ā™»ļø Zero Waste: No purge blocks, no wasted filament, no endless color swaps.
🧩 76-Piece Puzzle: An incredibly satisfying, fun, and clean assembly experience.

šŸ“ 22cm Tall (Scalable): Stands 22cm high. Feel free to upscale for an even bigger model, but downscaling is NOT recommended because tiny parts like the eye glow and sneaker logos will become impossible to print!
šŸ“ˆ Foolproof 3MF Included: All parts are neatly organized and pre-sorted on separate print beds by color.

🧩 Assembly Guide:

CAP:

  • For the rasta cap, you need to put the yellow and green parts together, which can then be clicked into the bottom red part.

HAIR:
Ā

  • The hair has 2 dreadlocks with rasta rings that need to be put on in the correct order/side! Then finish them off with the dreadlock caps.
Note: All parts that belong to the left or right side of the model are positioned like that on the print bed. Try not to mix them up, because one side won't fit the other!

FACE:

  • The face is pretty straightforward. The golden earring has a little dip in the ear where you can simply shove/click the earring on and still be able to move it. This doesn't require glue.
  • The mustache snaps satisfyingly under the nose and doesn't require any glue. Notice that this part has a special orientation and manual supports on the print bed to print it perfectly. Don't change those settings unless you know what you're doing.
  • Other parts on the face require a little dab of glue to be secured in place. You'll need some tweezers for the teeth and the eye glow.

TOP PART:

  • The two open sides of the necklace go into the dips of the peace sign medallion with a little glue. Then, quickly put the necklace and the medallion around the neck hole (aligning with the subtle cut lines) with a dab of glue before the glue between the medallion eye and the necklace dries.
  • The palm tree logo on the shirt doesn't require glue and snaps right in, but add a dab of glue if you want to be sure it never falls out.
  • Then, slide the shirt into the jacket, securing the 4 pins/holes on the bottom of the jacket (doesn't require glue). Both arms have a separately printed pin to put into the sleeves of the jacket, where you can slide over the colored arm rings/parts and gloves. Secure everything together with a dab of glue.

BOTTOM PART:

  • The golden chain on the pants is edited and resized from Emvi 3D's Model (Thnx m8!). It needs to be printed in place and doesn't require supports. Do make sure you clean the print bed well before printing this one!
  • You'll need 15 links from the chain. Cut off the rest. One side needs to be glued to the designated point on the left side of his pants, and the other side needs to be glued into the dip in the jacket on the left back side (you need to attach the top part of the model before doing this).

SHOES: (This is the part I'm most proud of! šŸ˜‚)

  • First of all, make sure you keep the parts on the correct side or they won't fit. (Again, everything is positioned on the bed on the correct side, and you can check the part names to be sure). I used a piece of painter's tape to stick the wooshes, logo and shoelaces on. In the right order & correct side to not mix them up until shoes where ready to put them on.
  • First, hold the 5 parts (MID, BASIS, TOP, HEEL and RED TOPRING) of the shoe together. Then, slide them as a set into the shoe sole. Put a dab of glue in the sole once you are sure everything is on the correct side and fits perfectly.
  • The shoelaces are a little tight but they do go in. I gently used some pliers to press them in all the way. Don't mix them up from left to right or from top to bottom. The tiny Jordan logo can be gently pressed into the ball logo, to then be glued together into the shoe itself. Finally, simply glue on the little Nike swooshes and you've got yourself some cool Tiny Nike Air Jordans! šŸ˜Ž
  • The pants have 2 large pins at the bottom where these bad boys slide right on.

FINAL ASSEMBLY:

  • Glue the hat, head, body, and shoes together to make the fellow solid, and your Rasta Mario is born! 😁

A lot of blood, sweat & "Blender" tears have gone into this fellow. So please show a little appreciation with a nice message, a picture of your print, a like, or maybe even a little Boost to keep me going... Because I think I've caught the bug now to make more of these! šŸ˜…

Enjoy! 😘
