AI Plant Guardian Self-Watering Smart Plant
Print Profile(1)

Description
AI Plant Guardian is a fully integrated smart plant built around the Arduino® UNO Q. It combines on-device artificial intelligence, automatic irrigation, and remote control via Telegram — all packed inside a custom 3D-printed housing designed to look as good as it works.
What It Does
- AI leaf disease classification running locally on the board (5 classes: Healthy, Powdery, Rust, Slug, Spot) via Edge Impulse™
- Automatic watering triggered by a capacitive soil moisture sensor and a 5V submersible pump
- Live environmental monitoring with BME280 (temperature, humidity, pressure)
- 24-LED WS2812B ring acting as grow light and visual feedback
- 1.28" round TFT display showing real-time plant status
- Telegram bot for remote control: live photo with AI classification, sensor status, manual watering — locked to a personal chat ID for security
About the 3D Print
The entire enclosure was designed with practicality and aesthetics in mind:
- Integrated water reservoir in the base, tested for waterproofness with thick walls and 100% infill in critical zones
- Balanced shower head with annular compensation chamber, throttle plate, and final distribution plate — engineered to deliver uniform water flow from every nozzle even at low pump pressure
- Hidden cable routing, dedicated sensor housings, and webcam mount
- Printed in PLA and PETG on a Bambu Lab® P2S
The model is organized in a single 3MF file with every part pre-placed on the build plate, ready to slice and print.
Print Settings (Suggested)
- Material: PLA for the body, PETG for the reservoir
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Walls: 4 (5 for the reservoir)
- Infill: 25% standard, 100% on reservoir critical zones
- Supports: Tree supports where required
