The factory charging pad in these vehicles is notorious for causing phones to overheat, and the hard plastic or rubber base easily scratches your phone's camera bump or premium case. This custom-designed tray fixes all of those design flaws while maintaining a clean, OEM-plus look.

Why This Design is Better (Problem Solver)

• Advanced Thermal Cooling (Venturi System): The stock charger traps heat. This design sits higher up in the console, placing your phone directly in the airflow path of the dashboard air vents. Beneath the phone, an integrated venturi-style cooling system actively channels and accelerates air across the back of the MagSafe charger and your phone, keeping charging speeds high and temperatures low.
   
• Anti-Scratch Protection: No more grinding your expensive phone case or camera lenses against the hard factory console plastic. When printed in a premium material, this tray provides a precise, smooth, and protective recess.
   
• Perfect Cable Management: Features a dedicated, hidden routing channel underneath the tray to cleanly guide the USB-C cable to your vehicle's power port without cluttering your cabin.

Hardware Needed

• 1x Official Apple MagSafe Charger (or a high-quality third-party puck with identical 56mm dimensions).  The mount I have created is 55.8mm, but the attached Fusion File can be changed in parameters to suit your need.

Recommended Print Settings & Material
⚠️ Important Material Note: Because car interiors experience extreme temperatures, DO NOT print this in PLA, as it will warp and sag under the sun.

• Material: ASA-CF (Carbon Fiber ASA) is highly recommended (and what is pictured). It offers exceptional UV resistance, high thermal stability (100°C+), excellent structural rigidity, and a premium matte, textured finish that perfectly matches the car's interior. Regular ASA or ABS are also excellent choices.
• Wall Loops: 3–4 walls for robust durability.
• Infill: 15%–25% (Gyroid recommended).
• Supports: No supports needed! The underside cable routing channel and the venturi air cavity are designed to be fully printable without support material.
• Bridging Speed: To ensure the underside tunnels print flawlessly without sagging, slow down your bridging speed in your slicer settings (reducing it by about 30–50% from your standard profile works beautifully for ASA-CF).
