Description

This 3D-printable Hawaiian Lei is designed to be an engaging DIY craft toy for kids and a fun accessory for summer parties, beach luaus, or bachelor/bachelorette events. šŸ¹

I designed these flowers to be fast and economical to print, as well as light enough to be comfortably worn. To avoid a rigid and artificial look, the file includes several different flower shapes to create a dynamic and natural movement once worn. ✨

Why You'll Love It

More than just a simple 3D print, this project is a fun, hands-on activity! Kids will absolutely love putting together and customizing their own wearable DIY toy. It also doubles as the perfect party prop—whether you're looking for an original accessory for a beach party, a luau, or a stag/hen night, this lei brings a colorful and playful touch to any summer event 🌺.Ā

Thanks to its ultra-thin design, you can easily shape it with your hands, gently bending the petals upward with your fingers to give each flower a realistic 3D volume. Plus, with no fixed amount of pieces to print, you have complete control over the customizable length. Simply print exactly what you need to achieve your desired look and fullness!

Print Settings & AssemblyĀ

  • 🧵 Material: PLA Matte and PLA Basic are recommended, especially if you plan to let the kids paint them. PLA Translucent also guarantee fantastic and super colorful results.
  • 🧶 What You Need: To assemble the necklace, you will need a piece of string, thread, or elastic cord (not included in the printed parts).
  • šŸ’” How to Assemble: Simply pass the string through the center holes. You can stack the flowers tightly together for a denser effect, or add knots or beads in the middle to space them out. Shape the petals, tie the ends, and have fun!
