Window Trickle Vent Adapter Kit – 75 mm Printer Exhaust (Quick Disconnect System)

This kit converts a standard window trickle vent into a clean, secure exhaust outlet for your 3D printer. Designed specifically for 75 mm hose systems, it uses a quick‑disconnect coupling so you can attach or remove your exhaust line in seconds without tools. Perfect for users who vent PLA/PETG fumes outdoors and want a tidy, reliable, low‑leakage setup.

It can be used without the quick disconnect; just clamp your pipe directly to the vent elbow.

 

I have uploaded 2 print profiles:

 

  1.  218mm distance between mounting holes for 75mm exhaust hose with quick disconnect and can also be used with a hose clamp or ty-wrap to fix the hose.
  2. 280mm distance between hole mounts for 100mm exhaust hose with no quick connect only smooth tube for connection with ty-wrap or hose clamp.

  • Optimised for 0.4 mm nozzles and standard PLA/PETG
  • Designed for real‑world use: stable, rigid, and tolerant of minor window‑frame variations

Printability

  • Supports: enabled, Tree (auto) and tree organic.
  • Orientation: as per build blate with flange down to ensure good mating surface.
  • Recommended Material: PLA or PETG (PETG preferred for outdoor temperature swings)
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm (can increase to 0.24 to decrease print time by 30 minutes).
  • Walls: 2
  • Infill: 15%
  • Build Plate: Textured PEI recommended for grip and clean underside finish

Assembly & Use

  • Attach  the adapter on to the trickle vent opening after the original vent has been removed.
  • Attach the quick disconnect fitting to the 75mm exhaust hose using a Jubilee clip/Hose clamp / Worm gear clamp or even a ty-wrap
  • Attach your 75 mm hose using the quick‑disconnect coupler
  • Twist to lock, twist to release — no clamps, no screws, no fuss

This adapter solves the common problem of messy, improvised window exhaust setups. The quick‑disconnect system keeps your workspace clean and lets you detach the hose instantly when not printing.
