From Whiskey to Fragrance: The Next Level of Mechanical Displays

If you've followed my work, you know I love a good mechanical reveal. I’ve built everything from whiskey and soda cases to Pokémon displays and jewelry boxes.

It was finally time to do one for the ladies. 

This is a custom Folding Door Box designed specifically for the Jean Paul Gaultier DIVINE “LE PARFUME” fragrance. Instead of a simple lid or a nesting shell, I engineered a multi-segmented door system that retracts smoothly to reveal the glowing fragrance bottle.

It's designed to print with minimal support material waste. I have carefully layed out the pieces so that there is minimal waist when printing with ams.

1. Bambu Jade white PLA Basic
2. Bambu Gold PLA silk +

3D printed parts :

• Top pins x 2
• Base for LEDx 1
• Top x 1
• Back pcs x 11
• Door parts x 22
• (Alternative base without LED)

Other parts required :

• 2 pcs Steel/alu rods ø6mm x 200mm long.  !!Link bellow!! 
• 22 pcs Round Magnets 6x2mm
• Ca glue.

• Optional : Led Lamp Kit 001 or KC007
