Description
A simple ring with 3 drilled holes to make a colorful wind chime yourself. A small hook is also included.
We have the wind chime hanging on the balcony cat net to deter birds from flying through the cat net onto our balcony. While our cat would be happy, we have had unpleasant experiences. The fluttering colorful ribbons will make the birds avoid the cat net, and it also looks nice in the wind.
I bought colorful satin ribbons on Amazon (12-color rainbow set, see link) and tied one wind chime with a ribbon length of 60 cm and another with 50 cm. I used each ribbon color 3 times per wind chime and cut double the ribbon lengths, tying them to the ring in the middle.
The ring has a diameter of 15 cm, the 3 holes for strong thread are 3 mm.
