A compact hidden stash box specifically designed to be installed underneath an IKEA Alex drawer unit.
Unlike classic fully-magnetic sliding systems, this design uses:
- 2 neodymium magnets (⌀6x3 mm) on one side
- Snap-fit locking bracket on the opposite side
This solution reduces the number of magnets required while keeping the box secure, stable, and easy to access.
The internal dimensions were specifically designed to also fit 500€ banknotes without folding issues.

Assembly Instructions
1. Insert the magnets
Insert the ⌀6x3 mm neodymium magnets into the dedicated holes.
2. Apply adhesive tape
Apply the adhesive tape as shown in the photos.
3. Install the mounting parts
With the fixing bracket and magnetic side attached to the box:
- first stick the fixed bracket side to the drawer
- then stick the magnetic side to the drawer
This ensures perfect alignment during installation.
4. Done
