THE MODEL :

Bring the mysticism of the Valley of the Kings into your home with this striking wall console. Depicting the god Anubis as an athletic, jackal-headed bust, this sculpture emerges from the wall to hold your sacred objects. The deity's breastplate features a chiseled Khepri scarab beetle in high relief, a timeless symbol of eternity and rebirth. Perfect for crafting a neo-antique aesthetic or displaying collectible relics, small ceramic vases, and precious crystals, this shelf seamlessly transforms any plain wall into a fantasy archaeology alcove.

Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The majestic and powerful design of this piece was successfully verified and printed using matte black PLA.

  • Infill: Set at 5% for the display model shown in the images. Essential Load Note: Because the outstretched arms bear the weight of the ledge, we highly advise bumping the infill to 25% or 30% and adding extra wall loops if you plan to hold heavier items (books, resin figures).
  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
  • Supports: Required beneath the arms, the shelf platform, and the tall pointed ears for a flawless finish.

Sizing Information: The file is scaled beautifully to accent pillars or wall recesses. Please feel free to freely resize the model based on your desired use within your slicing software to perfectly match the dimensions of the relics you wish to showcase.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
