Description
Don’t Tread On Me
This layered “Don’t Tread On Me” wall art brings one of America’s most recognizable symbols of freedom and independence to life in a bold black and yellow design. The famous phrase basically means, “leave me alone, and we won’t have a problem.”
The design traces back to the Revolutionary War and the historic Gadsden Flag created in 1775. The rattlesnake was chosen as a symbol because it only strikes when provoked — a warning that the American colonies were ready to defend their liberties if pushed too far.
Today, the rattlesnake and motto still stand for patriotism, independence, and standing your ground. Whether it’s hanging in your garage, workshop, office, or man cave, this piece definitely makes a statement.
