Description
As a big fan of the Splatoon universe, I was desperately looking for a **Judd** (Charbitre) figurine to add to my collection, without success. So I decided to take matters into my own hands! Using an official image, I used a Makerlab generative AI to model the figurine. To push the concept even further and give it real in-game utility, I designed a **custom Amiibo-style base** capable of integrating an NFC chip. It's the perfect project to combine decoration and tech!
The figurine was printed in plain white PLA, then underwent a post-processing step (application of a primer) before being entirely hand-painted with acrylic paint. **Tip for the Amiibo base:** A **pause (Pause at height)** function is programmed in the slicer during the base's printing. This allows you to neatly insert the NFC chip into the core of the piece before the printer seals it all. Note: I do not provide the exact chip model or the writing procedure (the TagMo app and many online tutorials do this very well).
⚠️ **IMPORTANT REMINDER (NINTENDO LICENSE):** This model is shared **for free** and must remain so. Out of respect for the Nintendo license and the exceptional work of the game's creators, any commercial use is **strictly prohibited**. This project must remain exclusively for private and passionate use. Thank you for respecting this rule.
- Material: PLA (White for the figurine, colors of your choice for the base)
- Post-processing: Primer + Acrylic paint
- Specificity: Pause to configure in the slicer for chip insertion
- Required material: 1 Amiibo-compatible NFC chip
A great customization project that looks good on a desk and works perfectly on the console! Feel free to share photos of your painted figurines in the comments!
