Description

A detailed miniature model inspired by oil-filled distribution transformers commonly used in electrical substations and power distribution networks.

Designed specifically for FDM 3D printing, this compact display model recreates the recognizable appearance of a real distribution transformer while remaining practical to print on standard FDM printers.

One of the key features is the removable internal transformer core with coils, allowing the inside assembly to be taken out and displayed separately — adding both realism and educational value.

Features

Inspired by real oil distribution transformers
Used in substations and power distribution systems
Designed for FDM printing

Self-threading screw holes – no tapping required
Removable internal transformer core with coils
No resin printer required
✅ Great for electrical engineers, electricians, power industry workers, and enthusiasts

Removable Internal Assembly

The model includes a removable transformer core with windings, allowing you to:

  • display the internal structure separately
  • better understand transformer construction
  • add an educational and realistic touch to the model

Hardware Required

Only minimal hardware is required for assembly:

M2 socket head screws (hex / Allen head):

  • 6 mm
  • 10 mm
  • 12 mm

Printing

  • Optimized for FDM printers
