Design:
- for 10x 2.5 HDD/SSD !!! I also added a x9, x8, x7 and x6… for the less ambitious… no one judges…
- Maximal Density !
- HOT SWAP is possible. I really wanted that feature and couldn't find it anywhere on printable/makerworld
- Maximum airflow
- Following feedbacks, the mounting of the SATA connector as been redesigned.
Print:
- No support ! Print face down see picture.
- Tolerance are quite tight, make sure to take your time to print it (I used 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layers
Assembly:
- It's probably going to be “new tool day” if you want to print that… You will need a HEX/ALLEN key 2MM with a very long blade (at least 20cm) such as:
- Bondhus 3752 Extra Long 2mm Ball End Screwdriver (link to images of the key)
- Stanley Extra Long Allen Key 2mm (link to aliexpress)
- Then assemble the SATA connector as per pictures starting from the least accessible.
