Large Powerful Centrifugal Blower
Print Profile(1)

Description
Hello there, this is my very first model that I've ever posted and I'm happy to share it on Makerworld. This powerful blower-style fan is powered by a 12v 775 dc motor. The motor diameter needs to be 46mm so that it can fit properly into the holder. The shaft diameter also needs to be 5mm in length. No supports required for this model. Recommenend to be printed in a material tougher than PLA, as the 70mm rotor will be spinning at 20k rpm. Trust me when I say this, but you DO NOT want the rotor to shatter violently and crack the casing open as I've experienced with the first iteration.
Pleast boost this if you can. That will be heavily appreciated!
Requirements:
- DC Motor with 46mm body diameter and 5mm shaft
- 2x M5 Screws
Assembly Guide:
- Place the motor in the motor holder that is apart of the bottom casing. It is a tight fit but with a little bit of twisting you can successfully get it all the way in there until you physically cannot push it in anymore.
- Hammer the rotor down until it has a 0.5mm clearance from the bottom casing. Ensure it is an extremely tight fit and is perfectly balanced on the shaft.
- Align the top casing on top of the bottom casing then secure your 2 M5 screws into the 5mm holes.
- Make sure there is little to no friction (preferably none at all) however if there is only a little bit of friction, that is all good as when the rotor spins it will file the face down until it doesn't contact with the casing at all.
That's all! Have fun! :)
