Description
This attachment transforms the original plastic wheels of the Terramow V600 and the identical Terramow V1000 into "spikewheels" with significantly improved traction, especially on slopes or difficult terrain.
The attachment is simply screwed onto each of the two original wheels with 6x 3 mm screws. A total of 24 spikes are integrated, each approximately 3 cm longer than the tread of the original wheels. This gives the robotic lawnmower significantly more grip, allowing it to safely handle inclines and perform turning movements more easily (e.g., when turning on slopes or wet grass).
For high weather resistance and stability, I recommend printing in ABS or at least PETG. PLA is rather unsuitable for permanent outdoor use, as it can soften in sun and heat.
The design is intended to be as easy as possible to retrofit without altering the original wheel – simply place it on, align, screw it down, done. Please do not overtighten the screws, as the spikes could otherwise loosen over time.
