AET-14 begins during the protracted Siege of Forge World Voss. It was part of a 8th deployment and tasked with designating targets for orbital bombardment within the main hive-spire. Under heavy fire, its controller was killed, and the data-link was severed. Instead of powering down, AET-14’s Data-Spirit (its core AI) adapted. It began operating autonomously, prioritizing targets based on its own predictive analysis rather than orders.
