THE MODEL :

Bring the majesty of medieval abbeys into your home with this pure architecturally designed wall console. Inspired by Rayonnant Gothic art, its structure faithfully replicates the clean lines of pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and hanging pinnacles that once supported the ceilings of grand cathedrals. This statement piece beautifully combines geometric precision with timeless elegance. Installed in a living room, entryway, or study, it becomes a refined ledge to showcase miniature sculptures, antique inkwells, small spellbooks, or candles.

Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The straight lines and hanging details of this structural model have been successfully validated using matte black PLA.

• Infill: Printed at 5% for the purely decorative setup shown in the photos. Strength Note: While the three bottom pillars act as visual buttresses, the core load relies on the upper wall mount. If you plan to hold heavier items like antique books, bump the infill to 25% and add extra wall perimeters to reinforce the top ledge.
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Supports: Light supports are required under the main platform and within the inner curves of the pointed arches.

Sizing Information: The file is proportioned to look sleek and slender on any wall. Feel free to freely adjust the scale dimensions in your slicer to match your specific layout needs or to downscale it into a small, elegant alcove display.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
