Prototype Inspiration: Soft, Cute, Healing Marine Pet Seal
The model prototype is taken from the real marine animal, the spotted seal, extracting iconic features such as the seal's plump body, small flippers, and fish-like tail, and given an ultimate Q-version adorable treatment. The rounded head is enlarged to depict a lazy, deeply sleeping expression with closed eyes, weakening the animal's wildness and creating a soft, utterly healing cub image that aligns with the currently popular marine healing aesthetic.
Structure Inspiration: Segmented Articulated Stress-Relief Play Design
The biggest creative highlight is the body's segmented articulated structure. The seal's torso is divided into multiple articulated modules, complemented by a movable tail fin. The inspiration comes from the popular articulated stress-relief trendy toy designs of recent years. The segmented structure allows for various poses such as bending, twisting, and folding the body, mimicking the seal's lazy wriggling posture in water or on the beach, achieving the stress-relief joy of fingertip play and pose DIY.
