Ce buste imprimé en 3D représente Mikhaïl Sergueïevitch Gorbatchev, dernier dirigeant de l’Union soviétique et l’une des figures politiques les plus influentes du XXᵉ siècle. Inspiré de la photographie la plus populaire du personnage, ce modèle cherche à retranscrire fidèlement ses traits distinctifs, son expression réfléchie et les caractéristiques naturelles qui ont marqué son image publique à travers l’histoire.

Dirigeant de l’URSS entre 1985 et 1991, Mikhaïl Gorbatchev est principalement connu pour avoir lancé les politiques de Perestroïka (restructuration économique) et de Glasnost (transparence politique). Ces réformes visaient à moderniser le système soviétique, à ouvrir davantage la société et à répondre aux difficultés économiques du pays. Elles ont profondément transformé l’Union soviétique et influencé l’équilibre mondial, accompagnant la fin progressive de la Guerre froide ainsi que la dissolution de l’URSS en 1991.

This 3D-printed bust depicts Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev, the last leader of the Soviet Union and one of the most influential political figures of the 20th century. Inspired by the most iconic and widely recognized photograph of the historical figure, this sculpture aims to faithfully capture his distinctive facial features, thoughtful expression, and the natural characteristics that shaped his public image throughout history.

Serving as leader of the Soviet Union from 1985 to 1991, Mikhail Gorbachev is best known for introducing Perestroika (economic restructuring) and Glasnost (political openness). These reforms were intended to modernize the Soviet system, open society further, and address the country’s economic challenges. They profoundly transformed the Soviet Union and influenced the global balance of power, contributing to the gradual end of the Cold War and the dissolution of the USSR in 1991.
