Isamu Noguchi 'Akari Light Sculptures' Candle Lamp Holder

This is my designed 3D Printed Japanese paper lantern candle lamp in the style of Isamu Noguchi.

• Design Inspiration: A perfect homage to Isamu Noguchi's classic 'Akari Light Sculptures' series, especially the egg-shaped / teardrop-shaped paper lantern silhouette, which is one of his most iconic designs.
• Lampshade Body
  • 3D printed with translucent white PLA filament, its shape replicates the rounded, egg-shaped silhouette of Japanese paper lanterns, with soft and full lines.
  • The horizontal layer lines and vertical ribs on the surface perfectly restore the skeleton and paper texture of traditional lanterns, creating uniform light and shadow patterns when lit.
• Three-legged Stand
  • The warm brown stand features a three-legged design, ensuring stability while also restoring the retro base shape of Japanese lanterns, complementing the lampshade with a natural wood texture.
• Light Source Component
  • The bottom features a base compatible with LED candle lights, and the transparent bulb simulates the shape of a candle flame. When lit, it recreates the warm glow of candlelight, while being safe with no open flame.
• The translucent material of the lampshade allows warm light to diffuse evenly, and soft orange-yellow light spreads through the layer lines, presenting the same gentle texture as a Washi paper lantern in the dark, creating a relaxed and soothing atmosphere.
• Modular Design: The lampshade, stand, and light source components are detachable, making assembly easy and convenient for future replacement with different colored stands or lampshades to suit various spatial styles.
• Combination of Tradition and Modernity: Replicating the classic Japanese lantern shape with 3D printing technology, combined with safe LED candle lights, it retains a retro ambiance while avoiding the safety hazards of open flames.
• Light and Shadow Details: The textured design of the lampshade creates delicate light and shadow effects when lit. Even when not lit, it is a tasteful desktop ornament.
