Description
Fun design that scoots across the floor nicely. Just slip a standard sized balloon over the top flange and inflate from the exhaust at the rear of the train. Great for party favors and the like.
I've tried to strike a balance with the force it takes to press the axles together. Factors like print temperature, filament brand, and layer height can change the diameter of the press fit ever-so-slightly. All that to say; pressing them together might take some force or be really easy. Worse case scenario, you might have to add a tiny drop of glue to the axles.
If you are finding that when you release the train, the balloon just falls back and the train hardly moves, try shifting the balloon further down onto the flange.
The tires and axles are interchangeable with all the balloon powered models that I've made.
