Description
đŠ Lloyds Bank Coprolite - World's Largest Poop
"An authentic piece of Viking history... quite literally."
Tired of seeing the "world's smallest capybara," "smallest benchy," or "smallest poop" models trending on 3D printing platforms? I decided to look at the exact opposite end of the spectrum and recreate something truly massive and historical: The Lloyds Bank Coprolite.
Discovered in York (UK) and dating back to the 9th-century Viking Age, this is officially the largest recorded fossilized human feces in history. Beyond the obvious humor, this specimen holds immense archaeological and scientific value (helping historians understand the diet and health of the Vikings).
This 3D model has been meticulously reconstructed to be as geographically and texturally accurate to the original museum piece as possible, measuring a massive 20cm in length and up to 5cm in width.
(Note: I am currently designing a museum-style display stand/bracket for this model, which will be uploaded shortly as an update!)
đ Print Settings & Tips
- Orientation (Important): Print this model at an angle/tilted rather than flat on the bed. Slicing it at a custom incline preserves the organic, rocky surface textures and ensures that the tree supports are minimal and can be popped off cleanly in just a few seconds without scarring the main body.
- Layer Height: 0.12mm (Highly recommended to accurately capture the organic micro-geometry and cracks of the fossil).
- Nozzle: 0.4mm.
- Infill: 10% Lightning. There is absolutely no need to waste precious filament on a piece of crapâliterally! The lightning pattern keeps the shell perfectly stable while leaving the inside mostly hollow.

â¤ď¸ Support My Work If this model was useful to you, please consider giving it a **Boost**! đ It helps me buy more filament to test and design new functional parts. *Happy Printing!*

đĄ What you see is what you get: Unlike many profiles that only upload digital renders of unprintable models, every single design here is fully test-printed, refined in Blender/Meshmixer, and optimized for FDM before release.
I spend hours tweaking geometries, custom supports, and wasting my own filament so that you can enjoy a flawless, hassle-free print on your first try.
If my test-printing hours saved your time and filament, feel free to keep my printers running and fuel the next project! Any support is greatly appreciated: paypal.me/mjrko84
