ADV Motorcycle LED Mounts

Mounts to attach 7" LED pods to the crash bars of my adventure bike as I wanted more than the little pods. The crash bars I have are 28mm in diameter. I used M5 machine screws to fasten the two sides together. I trimmed a piece from an old inner tube to line the clamp and prevent them from sliding.

Originally, I had printed these mounts in PLA, but the Texas heat cause them to slowly deform and loosen. I reprinted in PETG and they have lasted two years and even survived a drop. I learned they also double as crash bar protectors! If I ever need to reprint these mounts I will used ASA or ABS. They are very secure. My only issue was fitting the hex huts in. I had to heat them hex nuts and slightly melt them in as my printer printed the holes slightly smaller than they were designed. I also put a piece of innertube between the base of the LED and the mount to prevent it from twisting.
