Makita Makpac Size 3 for Angle Grinder DGA511RTJ

This is an inlay for a Makita angle grinder in a Makpac Size 3. I designed this inlay so that the handle does not have to be unscrewed every time it is packed away, and everything still has its place.

I printed the inlay in 4 parts and glued them together with superglue. I also glued on the holder for the grinder at the back.

To get the inlay into the Makpac, you have to disassemble the rail at the back. This is done by disassembling the lid of the Makpac. To do this, you have to remove the pins as shown in pictures 3-4. I used pliers and a hammer for this. To disassemble the pins that hold the lid, you have to firmly grip the pins on the inside with pliers and then hit the pliers with the hammer from the inside out. Once you have done this on both sides, you can remove the rail and insert the inlay.

I printed the 4 parts of the inlay from PLA

I printed the rear holder for the grinder from TPU for a "soft" and better fit.
