🔋 Why only 6S?
The 140W board itself technically supports other battery configurations, but due to the use of a 6S BMS, the system currently only works with 6S batteries
I thought about adding a bypass switch for operation without BMS so that other batteries could be used, but decided not to ⚠️
The reason is simple — people might accidentally forget to switch the mode and over-discharge the battery
Therefore, the system is currently intentionally limited to 6S for safe operation and balancing
💬 But I'm curious to hear your opinion:
Would you like to see a version with a bypass switch
🧊 Cooling
The module is equipped with:
- 🌀 an active fan
- ❄️ a large aluminum heatsink
- 🌬 ventilation holes
- 🔥 thoughtful airflow
Under high load, cooling really helps
🛠 Printed Buttons
Initially, it was essentially a "bare" board with small tactile buttons
Therefore, separate printed buttons were created, which are much more convenient to use 👌
⚠️ Why was the acrylic plate removed?
The original board came on an acrylic plate
After contact with alcohol, the acrylic started to crack 😅
Probably due to internal stress after laser cutting
Therefore, I recommend using a 3D printed enclosure
🔩 Modular BMS System
The BMS is installed on a separate adapter
This means that when replacing the BMS, you don't need to rework the entire enclosure — just change the adapter 🔧
