Description
Solar filter for my Canon 10x42 L IS WP binoculars (stabilized)
Use a Baader Astrosolar sheet and double-sided tape. Carefully follow Baader's instructions (do not stretch the sheet, etc)
The binoculars must be equipped with two 52mm lens hoods
Disclaimer: I performed this project on my own and do not accept any responsibility for any injury to you or damage to your telescope or yourself as a result of this design. The sun should not be directly viewed by your eyes let alone a magnifying device without proper safety gear. There are plenty of reputable online resources on how to properly observe the sun
