90° adapter for bike handlebar accessories
Print Profile(2)

Description
This adapter allows to install a bike accessory or command (dropper post for instance) to be installed 90° from the handlebars, instead of directly on the handlebar.
I created it so the trigger from my Aliexpress dropper post is in a more ergonomic position, i.e. horizontal and not vertical.
There is 2 print profiles, one with textured skin and one with normal outside surface. I personally printed the textured one, so you can have an idea of the result.
I suggest to use ABS or ASA, both for mechanical properties and temperature resistance. Some kind of nylon should be even better. PETG or even PLA could work too but I haven't tested it nor recommend it.
Dimensions :
- Fits 22.2 mm diameter bars
- Accomodate 22.2 diameter accessories, maximum 20 mm wide
Installation hardware :
- 1x M5 Socket screw or machine screw
- 1x M5 hexagonal nut
Safety disclamer: be careful with what you install on it. Critical commands like brakes are NOT TO BE INSTALLED on it, as any unexpected failure can cause harm to yourself or others.
