Roko lives in the Quiet Plates of Zoora, a stone plain where the ground sounds different in every corner. He loves arranging round pebbles and gently tapping his tail three times on the smoothest slabs. One afternoon, one of the stones responded from below with the same “tick-tock” rhythm that Erik hears. Then, an ancient plate opened slightly, revealing a stone wheel with a hollow in the center. It had the same shape as the old copper key that disappeared from Pinki's bakery. Before Roko could warn anyone, the plate closed again… but since that day, every time he taps the ground, Cangüi's compass trembles for a moment.
