Description

While looking at 3D FDM-produced parts, I saw a user making a drawer-style riser under their monitor. I liked the idea. That person's part was very large, and they had placed a wooden plate on top. I modified this idea to suit my own needs. I created a more compact design. I'm happy with the result, so I'm sharing it with you. I'm also sharing the 3D parts in STP format in case you want to adapt the design to your needs. Suggestions: To improve surface quality, especially at the corner radii, I divided the body part in half in Bambu Studio from the radius beginning. I printed the radiused front section vertically. I know it needed support, but surface quality was more important to me. Of course, you can make your own choice here. The decision is yours. Similarly, I divided the front face of the drawer section in half in Bambu Studio, this time to eliminate the need for support. I've shared the 3D data with options accordingly. If you're going to print the drawer section by dividing it like I did, use the "add connector" option for alignment when dividing in Bambu Studio to prevent the parts from shifting and to ensure perfect alignment.

I used ABS for the body and PLA for the drawer, but PLA is strong enough to support your design monitor unless it's excessively heavy. The standard infill density of 15% is more than sufficient, in my opinion. The layer height is a standard 0.20 mm. Happy printing!
