M-Wave Bike Topcase Fastening Hook Replacement

Replacement fastening hook/clamp for popular M-Wave bike topcases, also sold under similar brands such as Point. These topcase locking hooks can break if the bike falls over or the case gets hit, so this part is designed as a practical replacement.

This model is intended to restore the closing/locking function of the topcase.

Print Recommendations

This part should be printed in PETG for better strength, heat resistance, and durability outdoors.

Print the part in the original orientation for the best strength. Add support under the hinge area.

Assembly

For the hinge axis, use a standard 2.5 mm nail or similar metal pin. Cut it to the correct length, insert it through the hinge, and secure it with a small amount of hot glue or superglue if needed.

Notes

PLA may work for light use, but PETG is strongly recommended, especially if the bike or topcase is stored outside or exposed to sunlight and heat.
