Description
An intake manifold for the Awo 425 Sport with the old air filter box for a PWK carburetor. This manifold should fit regardless of the manufacturer or diameter of the PWK carburetor. This must be printed from TPU, other materials are not really suitable due to gasoline, vibration, and temperature!!!
For assembly, the studs on the cylinder head must be removed and replaced with M8 screws. The carburetor must not be mounted on the motorcycle. First, the rubber grommet of the original intake manifold is mounted on the intake pipe. Then the intake pipe must be inserted into the air filter box. In doing so, one end of the intake pipe (which is in the air filter box) must be compressed, which should not be a problem.
After that, the PWK carburetor with intake manifold (to the cylinder head) can be installed. This is a bit fiddly.
Finally, the intake manifold is mounted to the cylinder head with two M8 screws, and the carburetor is secured with two clamps at the front and back.
However, the intake manifold must be slightly modified. For this, the 8.5mm holes should be drilled at the original spacing, and two grooves should be cut in (should be visible in the photos).
This is all, of course, without warranty.
However, it has been running for at least 500km for me without any problems.
