Description
G Shock style frame for digital atomic clock, this frame is inspired by the iconic DW5600 wristwatch.
This would make a great addition to a man cave, garage, office or a father's day gift.
***READ ME***: When slicing make sure thin wall detection is on or you will lose fine details in the letters.
This print is a split print I wanted to make it one solid piece but was not happy with the proportions of the frame to face. There are 2 halves top and bottom and then the faceplate when gluing I HIGHLY recommend the ***KRAZY GLUE GEL*** it doesn't run and dries quicker.
Assembly: Trim the tabs sticking out on the bottom of the clock (see photo). Add glue to the frame ends be careful not to get too close to the edges and glue seeps out and then run a bead of glue where the face plate goes. line up the top and bottom frame and set the face plate in and hold for about a minute. Next add double side tape to the inside edges of the faceplate to hold the clock and frame together.
I added and extension to the back of the clock so you can also use it as a desk clock
Items needed other than PLA:
- Wall clock link below
- Krazy glue gel
- 3m double side tape
- cutters for trimming clock tabs
