Description

Here is a test for a Chinese Finger puzzle.

Normally using fabric, bamboo, paper, ribbons.

Using TPU for ams and printing this basic design. Joined at one end.

After wrapping the 'ribbons' of TPU using a marker or dowel, you can glue to secure the other end.

I used a glue gun and slightly melted the TPU and added some glue to secure mine.

I follow the instuctions on Wikihow on the assembly

here is the link I used.

How to Create a Chinese Finger Trap (with Pictures) - wikiHow

There are others you may find online as well.

The larger size was printed on H2D but much to big for most people.

Smaller size fits X1C bed (the model uploaded) as this size would fit most adults fingers.

Kids will need a smaller size printed.

You can scale to almost any size for your needs or bed size, but keep the thickness at 0.6mm!!

Best to print at 0.2mm layer.

(or thickness could be 3x the layer height)

Please note the blue and red model was a trial using pla (as most use this filament) it does NOT work. It snapped at the joint and was difficult to wrap. But this is a known issue with pla.
