Description

I adapted the dial counter from “Hacks Creations” for the board game Disney Sorcerer's Arena: Epic Alliances.

The characters included are only those from the core set.

I love the game, but I do not like the life counters on the character cards: they are difficult to read and cumbersome to adjust.

I split the original dial (which has one side for 1–20 HP and the other side for 21–40 HP) into two identical 1–20 HP dials, which can either be glued together before assembly or simply inserted between the two faceplates. I tried gluing them together, but I did not notice any major benefit.

Each character has red and blue faceplates.

I printed them using the SuperTack plate because I preferred the final result, but they also print well on the standard plate.

Colors can be changed before printing.

Print Requirements (Instructions and pictures copied from the original model)

This model is optimized for:

  • 0.4 mm nozzle
  • Arachne wall generation (REQUIRED)
  • Multi-color printing (REQUIRED for the numbered dial)

Use a 0.2 mm nozzle for even better-looking numbers.

Without multi-color printing and Arachne walls enabled, the numbers will not generate correctly.

Assembly

  • Faceplates print without supports.
  • IMPORTANT: Push the two faceplates together BEFORE final assembly to prepare them, then pull them back apart. They will not seat fully if you do not complete this step before inserting the dial.
  • Insert the dial, then snap the two halves together with a firm squeeze. All the ones I printed “click” into place once fully assembled.
  • Once locked, the fit is secure and durable enough for repeated spinning.
