Description
This is a custom-designed flexible shaft coupler replacement for the speaker selector rotary switch (or other identical rotary selector shafts) found inside the vintage Braun Regie 510 and Regie 520 receivers.
The original mechanical linkages inside these 1970s units often degrade, crack, or completely break due to decades of thermal cycles and mechanical stress. This model replaces the brittle original coupling with a modern, high-durability solution.
Designed with a precise internal D-shape (D-shaft profile) to securely grip the flat side of the control metal rods, it ensures zero backlash and smooth, dependable switching action. Printing it in semi-flexible filament provides the necessary torsional strength while dampening the click engagement to prevent putting too much stress on the vintage switch assembly.
