Instructions for your LoRa Solar Station:

Print:

Need at least a buildplate of 180mm. This box has 175mm.

With supports only touching the buildplate. Supports only necessary on the screws and nuts.

Print with HIGH infill density on a filament that can take the rain and heat. Example: PETG, ASA, etc etc.

Back to the buildplate on the box.

Front to the buildplate on the cover.

Has space for 4x, 3x, 2x, 1x 18650 batteries.

Dimensions and specs:

175mm x 149mm x 60mm

Weight: Around 500grs.

Solar panel tilt: 66º (optimized for the winter sunlight in Lisbon, Portugal ~38.7°N)

Box has thick walls to withstand the weather.

Has two vents to help with heat and condensation.

A series of ideas to stop the rain: silicone gasket, outer wall, screws all outside (except one for the solar panel).

It's plastic so don't go crazy torquing when holding it to the pole.
