BOSCH Miter Saw Shadow Line
Print Profile(1)

Description
I tried some options for Shadow Line, but was not really happy with any. Or they will need some extra power connector, or some extensive modifications in the saw or was just not good enough, so I decided to create my own!
This design uses a 3xAA battery, it will last you a long time before you need to change battery (I got 10 hours of CONTINIOUS use, but if you turn on only during cut it will last you months).
It took me a lot of interactions to get it right, both to point the light focus exactly under the blade as well as to account for the blade offset (yes, if you haven't noticed the blade is not central to the guard - that is the reason of every other design you see, there is a weird shadow on the left side of the shadow line)

You will also need:
- wire (I used 24AWG)
- 2 x M3-10 screws
- A glue gun for wire management
- Soldering iron
Battery case is not my design, so not sharing it here, but you can find tons of options available to print, or buy one from Amazon.
Why this is FREE?!
3D Printing and Woodworking have 2 very different beats. The first was founded on Open Source and sharing, while the second will charge you for a plan to build a toothpick :)
Let's say that I like the 3DP ethos better and since I don't make a living of my designs I want to share them with the community.
Said that, I did spent a lot of time and filament on that, so if you liked my design I want to help, I'd appreciate!
