Pompon lives in the Mist Meadows, where he runs through tall flowers, leaving small paths that only he knows how to remember. He loves to take three consecutive jumps on the flat stones he finds in the field, as if he were playing with the ground. One afternoon he fell onto a stone circle hidden beneath the grass… and the ground responded with three gentle taps from below. Pompon did it again, and for a second a burrow lit by blue roots opened, leading nowhere known. That same night, Erik heard the “tick tick” under Zoora with a completely different rhythm.
