Required Hardware

  • 1× Hex bolt M5 × 45 mm, fully threaded (length may vary for different air gaps)
  • 2× Nut M5
  • 1× Threaded insert M5 (press into pipe opening)

Assembly

  1. Press or install the M5 threaded insert into the ventilation pipe opening.
  2. Insert the M5 bolt through the valve disc (part 2), add one nut as a spacer/stop.
  3. Slide the optional airflow deflector onto the disc if desired.
  4. Join the valve disc and valve body (part 1); secure with the second nut.
  5. Screw the assembled valve into the threaded insert in the pipe.
  6. Adjust the air gap by tightening or loosening the bolt. See explosion drawing for reference.
