We often find ourselves printing hueforges and wanting to hang them, but since model sizes are often not standard, we have to improvise or print frames that use more material than the model we want to hang!

As often happens when faced with a problem, one sits down to find a solution.

Mine is a series of supports for hueforges, but also for rigid prints or photographs, that adapt to almost all model sizes, are reusable, consume only 27 grams of material, and are practically invisible.

The thickness of the models these supports are designed for is about 3 millimeters, and the small hooks slide with slight clicks in the central cross until they reach the desired size.

I have also included a joint to connect multiple supports together to combine and hang several panels, as shown in the photos.

Personally, I do not use it, but double-sided adhesive tape can be applied to the back to secure the models to the support.

If my project helped you solve a problem, let me know with a photo or a comment. Rate the print profile, like it, and if you appreciate my work, leave me a boost of encouragement to create other projects

I propose two profiles, one for PLA and one for PETG.

The parts that require more attention during printing are the joint and the part with the hook. The brim included in the profiles is specifically designed for these two parts, so it can be safely removed for printing the other parts.

I advise against modifying the orientation and layer height to achieve an excellent compromise between the sliding of the adjustable parts and print time. I also recommend using well-dried filaments and a thoroughly cleaned build plate with dish soap or isopropyl alcohol for optimal adhesion.
