Bicycle Cable Holder / Cable Guide (Dual Cable Guide) - only 7g filament
I created this model as part of my bicycle repair and want to share it A clean guide for two gear or brake cables, which adapts to round frames thanks to its design and securely holds the cables in position
- Easy Installation: Thanks to screw recesses, the model can be neatly mounted The side slots allow you to easily insert the Bowden cables into the holder
Print & Material Recommendations
Since this component on the bicycle is permanently exposed to weather, UV radiation, mechanical vibrations, and tensile forces, I advise against using PLA
- Recommended Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS These materials provide the necessary flexibility for the side clamping slots and will not become brittle in the sun
- Infill: 100% for maximum stability
- Walls (Wall Loops): 6 walls
Support: I recommend printing the model flat on the bottom side (with the curve facing upwards) This will require some support, but the model will gain additional stability
